Hi, I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 and I am replacing the tailgate. I found a salvaged tailgate off of a 3500 in the aforementioned year and I remember it will fit merely I but want to exist positive. Does anyone know if it will fit properly?

From Rock Auto the part numbers are exactly the same so they should fit.
I know at that place would have been differences on a 2002 since the 2500/3500 were still based on the 2nd gen torso, but on the 2005 you are proficient.

Yep, same tailgate. Dissimilar bed lengths are the only difference unless yous have an viii' bed, which still doesn't thing.

It will fit. I merely put a 3500 tailgate on my 1500,information technology fit like a glove
